KU HONORS BANQUET

Wellington's Jud Mitchell hosted this year's KU HONORS BANQUET held at
Wellington High School on Sept. 16, 2009. A "KANSAS" tradition since 1971, the
University of Kansas honors the TOP 10% academically from all 7 Sumner
County High Schools. Guest speaker was KU's "Spencer Museum of Art" director
Saralyn Reece Hardy. Alum Danny Lewis, Asst. Director of Alumni Programs at KU
was the presenter of awards. A great dinner was served by Linda Metzen and
- each honoree received a personalized dictionary, compliments of the
UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS - Rock Chalk Jayhawk - KU!
