At Lake Afton Saturday, WHS Cross Country runners fared well at the
4A Regional Meet - the Crusaders had 2 place in the top 10 and those
two are on their way to STATE 4A competition next weekend in Wamego!

Congrats to Freshman Ren Bean who placed 5th (17:49) and Senior Eric Anders
who placed 10th (18: 05) in the 5K run - the top 10 individual finishers at
Regionals qualify - great job gentlemen!

Also running today for the Crusaders were William Bucher (21:28) and
Nick Ewing (22:04) - a fine performance by both. In the 4K Girls run,
Shelby Leatherwood came in 35th with a very fine time of (18:32)

8-team invitational.  The Lady Knights earned 4th place overall in this
