The WMS 7/8 Girls & Boys Basketball squads saw their last action for "2018" Monday evening, the boys hosted Ark City, the girls played away. Here are the outcomes and present "overall season" records:

The season opened on Thursday for the Lady Knight and Knight basketball squads, the former hosted Winfield, the latter traveled. Here at HOME, the Lady Knights put up "W's" in 3 of their 4 contests - here are those results:

Shannon Smith's QUEST class at Wellington Middle School (project based learning) is presently involved with a project that focuses on building furniture from recycled materials. The recycled, rebuilt pieces will be used in the commons area for studying in small groups and mentoring.
The Lady Crusaders came up short Tuesday vs their Varsity and JV counterparts from Rose Hill HS. The Rockets held both WHS squads to under 40 pts. More action this coming Friday at Mulvane. The 2018 part of the season will conclude next Tuesday @ Winfield, just before the Holiday Break that begins Wednesday next week.

The evening started out well, the WHS Boy's "C" Team downed their ROCKET counterparts by the final score of 45-43. Korbin Jones lit it up for 16 points. Congrats to the "C" Team boys...here are the outcomes and scoring from all "3" boys contests, PICS (courtesy of WHS Yearbook).

The WMS 7/8 Wrestling Knights split at HOME Tuesday evening, their only HOME EVENT and their last "regular season" event as the end of season, Patriot League Championships are on slate for this Saturday in Mulvane.
At WMS Tuesday, the Knights went up against a buzz-saw team, Augusta who are now 12-0 on the season...a fine group of wrestlers. The Knights came up short 71-12 but found redemption vs Haysville West in the nightcap, winning 66-18.
The WHS Scholar's Bowl Team - participated in an 18 team tournament Monday @ Chaparral HS and did better than 17 of the other teams! (i.e. GOT FIRST PLACE!!!) Awesome bunch...!!

The Wellington Crusader Wrestlers hosted their annual Varsity Invitational Saturday with 14 teams in total on scene. Those teams varied in size though. The Crusaders had only "4" wrestlers in action on the day, still managing to finish 9th out of 14 teams with 3 of the 4 medaling. Here are the individual and team results from Saturday's action.
