WHS Volleyball ends for another season, after falling to #2 seed McPherson, Saturday afternoon in McPherson. The ladies did secure an opening round, 2 set victory over Buhler and battled hard against the Lady Bullpup hosts in round 2, succumbing in the end though, with a 2 set loss against the eventual 4A Sub-State 2021 Champion.

Results at McPherson were as follows:

Wellington defeats Buhler 25-23, 25-15

McPherson defeats Wellington 25-13, 25-19

Abilene defeats El Dorado 25-15, 25-14

CHAMPIONSHIP:  McPherson defeats Abilene 25-22, 25-18 (RECORD 33-6)

We bid a sad farewell to this year's upperclassmen, Sadie Glover, Ali Zeka, Brooklyn Cunningham, Airalyn Frame and Nikki Peninger. Familiar faces that will be missed. Best of luck to all of you!
