WHS Fall Homecoming festivities have begun!

The Duchess candidates and their escorts took their traditional wellington.cc formal photos this weekend as Student Council members were hard at work decorating the high school commons in anticipation of Friday night’s post-game dance.

Longtime StuCo sponsor extraordinaire Amelia Bristow has passed on the baton to intrepid Cassity Brungardt, and she has done a wonderful job with her new duties leading up to this week!  A big thanks to Mrs. Brungardt for taking on this responsibility!  Huge thanks is due also to Mrs. Bristow for all her years of service to this role—it’s an incredible amount of work she has put in for Wellington students and she did a fabulous job juggling all of it!

As per usual, students will celebrate Spirit Week starting today (WHS Spirit Week Themes) and will spend their evenings this weekend building class floats for the parade this Thursday. 
 

At halftime of Friday night’s game against Augusta, we will crown Wellington’s 2025-2026 Duchess, voted on by the WHS student body from among five candidates.

This year’s candidates and escorts are as follows: Natalie Burnett (Lex Goff), Cruz Cornejo (Brodee Lough), Claire Ginter (Jason Golden), Kylan Gregory (Will Mott), and Elle Wright (Trevan Hernandez).  A great group!!
