WHS JV Battle Collegiate JV @ Sellers Monday

Coming off the BIG VARSITY WIN Friday night @ Collegiate (Final WHS 32 WCS 00), the JV Boys looked poised early to continue that trend, jumping out on the visiting Spartans 7-6 after 1 qtr of action. Unfortunately, miscues and mental errors in the end would tip the scale to Collegiate, who rode home in the rain with a 27-12 victory.

Tri WINS, Tri LOSSES, @ WHS Varsity Triangular Tuesday!

The WHS Varsity and JV Volleyball squads opened their regular season action at HOME on Tuesday, hosting both Clearwater and Mulvane in triangular action on the main court at WHS. In the end, everyone (Varsity-wise), went home with a match win and a match loss - (JV Lady Crusaders swept in "2" 3 set battles and are 2-0) - here were the overall outcomes at both ends of the court.

A Look at THE LOUGH BROTHERS!

Larance & Carrie Lough probably had no idea, a dozen or so years ago, when they presented a small "roll-out" piano to their first-born, Mason, who was 3 at the time. It was of immediate interest to their son, and when, a couple of years later, a relative purchased a nicer keyboard for the boy, it became clear the young man possessed exceptional musical abilities. "At age 5, Mason could listen to a song, turn to his keyboard and play it," mother Carrie shared in a sit-down with the two and younger brother and musician Hunter recently.
