WHS kicked off the new school year on Tuesday with a half-day Orientation Day for all students.  Freshmen and sophomores attended the morning session from 8-11am and the upperclassmen closed out the afternoon from 12-3pm.  Students caught up with friends and classmates and CruCon teachers, picked up their chromebooks, and met the new WHS administrators: Mr. John Nance and Mrs. Audrey Gill!  Mrs. Gill, of course, was most recently a science teacher in the building, and Mr. Nance is a WHS alum with teaching, counseling, and administrator experience returning to his hometown high school!  Additionally, the Crusader crew also heard from Officer Wylie, their counselors, and new Activities Director Elly Johnson.  After attending the various sessions, the students capped off their half-a-first-day in the gymnasium engaged in games led by Coach Knepper.  It's great to see everyone back in the building!
