Bracketing won't be known  until Friday - a couple or so league teams are making up the games missed last Thursday due to the ice, moving their regular season play back a few days. Busy Weekend on the MATS!

The WHS Wrestlers were in action Saturday at 2 different venues. We had "2" Lady Crusaders at the State Girls Wrestling Tournament in McPherson, Mackenzie Heacock and Alexis Patee. Heacock finished at 2-2 on the day, finishing 4th and Patee went 1-4, finishing 5th. There were 79 teams and 220 girls this year at the State Tournament. Up 107 girls from last year. KSHSAA will vote sometime in April, as to whether the Girls State Tournament should be "sanctioned".

Special K Basketball - Wichita East vs Wellington

Friday was "SPECIAL K" BASKETBALL time at WHS - visiting the Wellington Campus, the Wichita East Blue Aces!

A large crowd was on hand for this annual event, the band, the student body, an electric atmosphere, and more. Wellington students formed the pre-game FAN TUNNEL during introductions of the Blue Aces, then those same students assisted the Crusaders similarly, with their intros as well.

Spirit Week Ends with More Tradition - The Duke Dance!
