Head Coach James Ginter had this to say:

I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of this group of young men. Today was a test of will and determination against both the weather and the challenge of walking 36 holes in one day. We were up at 5:30 am and didn't arrive home until 8:30 pm.  Today our young men placed 2nd as a team at Turkey Creek, 4th as a team at Hesston, and 4th overall.  The teams that bested us consisted of a 2021 State Champion, the 2nd-ranked team in 6A, and a top-5 ranked team in 5A. Our guys battled injuries, sickness, and weather and performed admirably.  Deitrek Gill, Brett Wyckoff and Laken Smith all medaled at the individual tournaments and Deitrek and Laken medaled overall, placing 3rd and 10th respectively.  Brett, Owen, and RJ all set individual personal records today, as well. This team is beginning to peak at exactly the right time.

The team will be back in action at Tex Consolver this Thursday.
