The WHS Varsity Crusaders dualed Pratt HS Tuesday at WHS - Pratt is ranked high in 4A, Wellington struggled with almost 50% of their weights, open.

WMS Leadership students and their sponsors, shopped at Wal*Mart on Sunday for a fellow "Knight" and "Lady Knight", both participants of the Angel Tree program. Big smiles on their faces as they spent quite a bit of time picking out some pretty cool stuff! It's great to see students caring about others as members of the leadership group do on a regular basis. Great Job!!
The WHS Debate Team competed at Augusta on Saturday (DEC. 1st) and "2" more Crusader Debaters are State Tournament bound in January! Congratulations to Devin Dickinson and Gabe Hyer who placed 6th with an overall win/loss rating of 4 wins & 1 loss. Great job gentlemen!
2018-2019 Wrestling Season got underway on Saturday for our Crusader Wrestlers, both Varsity and JV. The former competed with 18 other teams at Caney Valley, the latter headed east to Winfield for JV action there.

For those that might not know, Patriot League Wrestling scheduled the sport earlier this school year. Before, wrestling at the middle school level didn't commence until mid-late January. This season, middle school wrestlers' season began in early November and will end on December 15th @ the Patriot League Tournament in Mulvane.

WMS Leadership students delivered the food items they had collected for the Thanksgiving Holiday to the Wellington Food Bank on Monday. "3" vans, driven by Luke Smith, Kristin White, and Terri Driskell, and over a dozen Knights & Lady Knights, completed the delivery for the upcoming Holiday season, (over 1400 items - and over $150 cash) - Awesome job WMS - your efforts will help put smiles on many faces during Thanksgiving and other Holiday celebrations!!
