The Varsity Lady Crusaders SHINED this week at the CHENEY EARLY SEASON BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT. Still undefeated on the season, the usual champion, CHENEY themselves, were relegated to the 3rd place game after Wellington downed them, 45-39 earlier in the week. In the championship game on Saturday, it was the Varsity Lady Crusaders and Pratt HS, a team the ladies dominated the entire contest on Saturday. Up 40-17 at half and eventual final score of 66-47, the ladies in red clinched the title away from Cheney (and Pratt of course) - smiles all the way around. Congratulations to Airalyn Frame, Valerie Norwood, and Ali Zeka, for their selection to the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM! Great Job! (Tourney Overview) The Lady Crusaders had 3 players in double-digits in Saturday's action, the team was on a mission, mission accomplished!
