WHS Color Guard performed during the halftime of the Boy's Varsity Game.

The CRUSADERS hosted the Crusaders (Buhler) Tuesday afternoon and evening out at WHS. The northern Crusaders with quickness, hot shooting and precision passing, not to mention a Paul Bunyan sized center on their Varsity Squad, proved to be too much, the local red team dropped all "3" boys games to the visitors - here are the outcomes and individual scoring:

C-TEAM BOYS
The WHS boys let the game get away from them after battling hard early on. Final score was Buhler C-Team Boys 51, WHS 32.

Scoring:
Blake Saffell 10, Tanner Meyer 7, Trenton Bannister 6, John Long 4, Berkeley Wright 4, Kade Adams 1.

JV BOYS
BHS 65 WHS 35 (5-7) (2-3)

A lot of Wellington players scored during this contest but not near enough to make a difference in the end…Final Buhler JV Boys 65 WHS JV Boys 35.

Scoring:
Silas Popplewell 8, Zane Cornejo 5, Cade Fairbanks 5, John Long 4, Jacob Ewing 3, Austin Soles 3, Zander Vargas 3, Tyler Brown 2, Blake Rausch 2.

VARSITY BOYS
BHS 45 WHS 26 (4-10) (2-3)
The Varsity Buhler Boys are a good team.
They move fast, they move the ball fast and they have a Paul Bunyan in at center position. All of that combined, the Wellington Crusaders couldn’t muster enough offense to stay in pace but battled hard and kept it relatively close the first half before the northern Crusaders pulled away.

Scoring:
Ian King 16, Silas Popplewell 5, DeAndre Washington 4, Grey Hatfield 1

BOYS GAME ACTION PICS vs BUHLER
