Kenny Fehrman Finishes 3rd @ State 4A Wrestling!!
CONGRATULATIONS to Kenny Fehrman - the WHS Sophomore is bringing MEDAL home from the State 4A Wrestling Tournament in Salina!! THE 3rd Place BRONZE!!
SATURDAY UPDATE
WHS Junior Kanden Young lost to Stribling of Paola (Fall 3:21) and is out. Kanden went 1-2 @ State, his 2nd State Tournament is past 3 years. Congrats on a great season Kanden. (Next year - the BIG YEAR - it's goin' to happen!)
WHS Sophomore Kenny Fehrman after going 2-1 on Friday, went 2-0 Saturday, defeating Sherwood of Scott City in a tie-breaker 3-2, and then defeated Moore of Louisburg in a sudden victory 3-1 to claim the 3rd place victory!
KENNY FEHRMAN medaled today at STATE 4A Wrestling in Salina - finished 3rd out 16 - not a bad season for Kenny - Regional 4A Champion and finished 3rd state-wide
FRIDAY UPDATE
Kenny Fehrman 220 lbs (ranked #2 in the State!) went 2-1 today, Fehrman will finish Saturday somewhere between 3rd and 6th and will medal! Awesome!
Kanden Young 182 lbs. is 1-1 on the day and will wrestle again on Saturday. This is Kanden's 2nd State Tournament - good luck Crusader!
Quinton Redford 126 lbs. battled hard but went 0-2 today and is out...the young man is a STATE QUALIFIER and represents WHS well!
POST NOTE: Kenny Fehrman's PIN today broke the WHS Season Record for PINS with 25!!! (He's only a sophomore by the way!)
