A Driver Education course will be offered this summer for students who have completed their eighth-grade year of school and who will be 14 years of age by June 3, 2019, but not yet 21 years of age by September 1, 2019.

Enrollment will be limited to the first 112 students who complete the enrollment procedure. An enrollment packet will be sent home on 4/1/19 with all Wellington Middle School 8th graders and all interested students from Wellington High School.

Two sessions will be offered one from June 3-June 21 and the second June 24-July 12. Cost of the course is $150 (one hundred fifty dollars) for in-district students and $200 (two hundred dollars) for out-of-district students. This fee is non-refundable once students have begun their behind-the-wheel training. No fees will be waived for this course.

Completed enrollment forms and fees may be turned in at Wellington Middle School Office from April 2-30 2019, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. No applications will be taken after April 30 because the time needed to get licenses (DE 99) from the state.

There will be an optional parent/student meeting April 1, 2019 @ 6:00pm in the Wellington Middle School Little Theater, to answer questions re: the Summer Driver Education program.
