The WHS Football program held its third annual "Decals with Dudes" event, a team tradition started by head coach Jeremiah Meeks to foster a sense of community and family within the team and with the athletes' loved ones.  The football players invite special people in their lives to help them apply their helmet decals--this year's design featuring a white stripe and letter "W" on the player's left-hand side.  The coaches provide a dinner of Big Cheese Pizza and also announce the team's captains as voted on by the players.

Varsity and JV Volleyball began their season Tuesday with a triangular hosted at El Dorado. The yearbook students took some fabulous photos—be sure to check out the full set!

The varsity tennis squad took first as a team in their first action on the season, a home quad held at 9th Street yesterday afternoon.

Lady Crusader Golf spent the day yesterday at Crestview Country Club for the Andover tournament today and ended up with a 3rd place finish (and the top 4A team finish) behind 5A schools Kapaun and Andover.

Junior Taryn Viramontes medaled with the 7th place spot, shooting an 87. Just behind her was classmate Claire Ginter with a 90 for 11th place. Rounding out Wellington’s top four were Presley Cornejo and, for the second consecutive time in our top four scores, freshman Bella Angleton!
