KaBam! The Varsity and JV Basketball Boys took care of business Friday evening here at home vs Winfield. Banks Hinshaw lit it up in the Varsity game, scoring 31 pts! (pretty sure this is his career high).

24 of Hinshaw's 31 pts came from "8" treys / a new record! The former record of "7", held by Bank's coach, Joe Newman. Awesome job Banks.

In JV game, Cope Henry pumped in 17 for the cause.

Payton Ginter, daughter of James Ginter and Megan Meeker Cook, signed to play GOLF @ Dodge City Community College today out at WHS!

Present at the signing, in addition to Payton and her parents, were numerous family members and friends. Payton’s Golf Coach was also present, a.k.a. James Ginter / Dad!

Congratulations Payton – you have certainly excelled at your chosen sport. We will miss you and wish you the best in the years to come, on and off the course. GOOD LUCK @ DODGE!!

What a great start for our Lady Crusader basketball squad. In opening action Thursday evening at the Mid America Classic at McPherson HS, our girls battled hard and downed Valley Center in OT, 71-67! Ali Zeka and Airalyn Frame lit it up (21 and 17 pts respectively), high scorers for both teams, with 1 exception. Valley Center's Halle Brittain pumped in "7" 3 pointers on 8 attempts, Valley Center as a team made "15" 3 pointers, to set a new MAC record, breaking the old record of "12" 9 years ago.
