Varsity / JV Boys SPLIT @ El Dorado Friday

Down 4 pts after 1 qtr of play, the Crusaders stepped it up a notch and by half lead by 3, 22-19. Wellington added to that lead in the 3rd qtr and would head down the stretch with the Wildcats with a mildly comfortable 6 point advantage, 35-29, and only 8 minutes to go.

Turned out not to be a "good 8 minutes" for the visiting Crusaders, El Dorado put the pedal to the medal, outscoring WHS 17-4 and secured the non-league victory for their home crowd, final 46-39.
